A fragrance house built on restraint
The Deer is an Arabian oud house in development for the Gulf gifting market, with identity and packaging in matte black and gold foil.
- Wordmark & antler monogram
- Low-key photography direction
- Materiality: matte, charred, gold
In development
The Deer is not yet trading. This is identity and packaging work for a fragrance brand in development, so no sales, launch or performance figures attach to it.
- Logo suite & lock-ups
- Brand board
- Primary lock-up
One mark, many jobs
A fragrance identity has to survive foil-stamping on a box, etching on glass, embroidery on a bag and a 40-pixel avatar. So the mark was drawn as a family rather than a single logo: full wordmark, stacked lock-up, T·D monogram and a script signature, each with a defined job.
The objective
Create a premium fragrance identity that stretches across perfume, bakhoor, incense and luxury gifting without needing a different treatment for each. In the Gulf, fragrance is given as often as it is bought, so the packaging is the product as much as the scent is.
The identity pairs an interlocking T · D monogram, crowned with an antler, against a refined wordmark, carried through a system of bottle, gift box, tin and bag in matte black with gold-foil detailing. Textured stock and foil mean the range is gift-worthy by default, with no wrapping required.
The gifting set
The presentation box is the format the brand is judged on. It is what arrives at a majlis. Fitted trays, a consistent bottle silhouette across sizes, and incense presented in the same visual language as the perfume.
The range as one object
Shot as a set rather than as individual products: single-source lighting, shadow, texture and gold catch-lights. A range that photographs consistently is a range that can be launched, retailed and gifted without re-shooting for every channel.
